Why contribute?

The Heritage Portal is a great way to reach an international audience, all of whom have a professional or personal interest in Cultural Heritage.

This can help you in all sorts of ways:

  • Publicise your research findings (The Heritage Portal is open access and may therefore meet dissemination requirements for many funded research projects).

  • Generate awareness of your particular subject area.

  • Reach a wider, international audience of candidates, for the vacancy you want to fill.

  • Attract international delegates to your conference or event.

  • Disseminate information about funding or training programmes that may be of interest to international partners.

These are just some examples. Please, make the site yours. Use it to your advantage. The Heritage Portal is your community.

Cross Device Compatibility

The Heritage Portal site has been optimised for 1024×768, which is the most widely used screen size. The site will look its best at this size.

The site will, of course, display on older monitors with lower resolutions, but you may experience a slight deterioration in image quality.
